What is Barry's RIDE x LIFT?
The newest Barry’s innovation utilizing the winning formula for the Best Workout in the World™. Barry’s RIDE x LIFT is a 50-minute class offering high-intensity interval training (HIIT) on an indoor cycling bike paired with traditional strength training with weights on the floor.
How do I set up my bike?
Whether you are starting on a bike or the floor, a member of the studio team can help you set up your bike. Make sure that if you are starting on a floor spot, you ask beforehand how to change the bike settings so that you are prepared once class starts.
You can input your bike settings below once you have determined what your preferences are, so that you can access them for all classes in the future!
Are special shoes required for Barry’s RIDE x LIFT classes?
Yes! We offer Shimano shoes to rent for $3. These shoes are specifically designed so that you can switch from the floor to the bikes (and vice versa) seamlessly without having to switch shoes.
If you have your own cycling shoes you may wear them, but they must be compatible with SPD cleats to wear on our bikes.
Where is RIDE x LIFT offered?
Barry’s RIDE x LIFT is currently offered at our Chelsea studio in NYC and in our flagship West Hollywood studio!
Will I be ok if I'm a beginner?
We welcome beginners and meet many of you everyday! If it’s your first time, we’ll look after you in any class you choose. Barry’s classes are created for you to challenge yourself, but they are completely doable. You can set your own speed on your bike and choose the heaviness of your weights, depending on your experience.
Can I use my membership or class packages for RIDE x LIFT classes?
Yes, you can use any class credits or membership for RIDE x LIFT classes.
