The Field Marketing Manager’s core function is to bridge Sales and Marketing strategies. This role works to  communicate the field marketing plan to the studio operation teams and is responsible for developing and implementing lead generation & acquisition tactics for specific markets. The Field Marketing Manager is accountable for growing and retaining Barry’s client base. Serving as champion of the brand cascading information pertaining to national marketing strategic plans and initiatives. It is the responsibility of the Field Marketing Manager to build brand awareness and loyalty to support the phases of New Studio Openings through sales & marketing strategies and markets within their region. Traveling to different studios across markets is required based on the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Responsibilities 

  • Execute and develop on the ground Marketing strategies through building relationships with studio leadership teams
  • Research targeted markets in depth and develop pipelines for outreach as well as cold calling/emailing
    • Identify community partners and relationships to leverage community driven concepts and outreach
    • Attend events in-studio when available or present in the market
  • Management and oversight of all special events, including pop-ups and outside-of-studio events, health fairs, in store takeovers, local partnerships, etc.
    • Participate in all tabling events, coffee buyouts, grassroots marketing tactics when in market
  • Implement national campaigns & tools locally when on the ground in specific markets
    • Drive consistency in executing tier 1 marketing campaigns
  • Ensure success by tailoring campaigns to market and collaborate with studio management team 
  • Responsible for supporting the engagement of studio managers in solving studio-marketing issues and executing studio-level promotions  
    • Support in ownership in driving lapsed client initiatives 
    • Train new management on Barry’s business objectives and processes to drive marketing initiatives
  • Create content for local studio email strategies and submit according to the marketing communications calendar
  • Collaborate with studio management to oversee the execution of business driving initiatives including: community-building, studio-level promotions, ensuring they are fulfilling their responsibilities 
  • Create monthly reports highlighting efforts and analyzing new and existing partnerships

Corporate Support & Responsibility

  • Support Corporate Partnerships by identifying corporate partners in the area by using strategy & execution plan 
  • Visit key corporate partners and present menu of offerings educating the companies on Barry’s
  • Continue to leverage studio/ client contacts to identify and develop relationships
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to support studios in key marketing initiatives

National Support & Responsibility

  • Responsible for collaborating and participating in given action items for National Campaigns, studio rollouts or business strategies, which might affect all or assigned markets

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of PR, Marketing and/or Communications experience.
  • Creativity and sense of initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, communication, and public speaking skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong multitasking skills; ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working under the pressure of tight deadlines and multiple initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Use of good judgment in what you report and how you report it
  • Trustworthy to manage sensitive/confidential information
  • Proactive, reliable, responsible, and accurate with excellent attention to detail

Founded in West Hollywood in 1998, it’s the original strength and cardio interval fitness experience that provides an immersive, high-intensity, one-hour workout that’s as effective as it is fun. Our fitness classes alternate between working out with weights and running on a treadmill. Each day focuses on a different muscle group in order to achieve real results and to prevent injuries.
