With a long history of 20+ years in the fitness industry, Barry’s didn’t just get to where we are today by going with the flow and keeping things the same as they’ve always been.
As knowledge progresses in the fitness world, so do we. We’re always learning, improving, and evolving the method behind the madness in the Red Room to help you meet your goals, and keep you coming back for more. And in order to stay “the best workout in the world,” sometimes that means a little bit of change.
After opening our doors in West Hollywood in 1998, the Barry’s leadership and curriculum team refined the schedule based on the latest research in strength training and high-intensity interval training and the feedback of our clients. You asked for a few tweaks, and we listened.
What can you expect from the Barry’s workout?
A schedule composed of body part splits designed to maximize hypertrophy (read: get toned AF) while avoiding overtraining and the potential for injury.
Monday | Arms & Abs
Tuesday | Full Body (Lower Focus)
Wednesday | Chest, Back & Abs
Thursday | Abs & Ass
Friday | Total Body
Saturday | Full Body (Upper Focus)
Sunday | Total Body
Regardless of your attendance or frequency, you’ll get the most bang for your buck, and we know you’re going to love it!
And while we’re always looking for ways to improve, our core method remains the same, 50% treadmill and 50% strength training.
So will double floor (strength training ONLY). We wouldn’t do you dirty like that. (But you’ll still need a shower after class.)
