Barry’s Bootcamp (now known as just Barry’s) in the heart of West Hollywood.
LA-based instructor, Barry Jay, innovates HIIT, high intensity interval training, in a group setting. One part strength, one part cardio, 100% Barry’s.
Boutique fitness is born.
2004
From instructor to CEO. Barry’s CEO, Joey Gonzalez joins the company and begins to pave the way for the new era of Barry’s.
2011
Barry’s takes Manhattan. The first NYC studio opens in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City. The Fuel Bar is born and Barry’s begins to include signature Woodway treadmills in the studio.
Barry’s goes Global. Bergen, Norway becomes Barry’s first studio outside of the USA.
2012
Barry’s at the Beach. Barry’s opens its doors in Wainscott, the heart of the Hamptons.
2013
London Calling. Barry’s first studio opens in London. Affectionately referred to as Central.
2017
Worldwide Expansion. Barry’s opens its first studio in the Middle East, Dubai DIFC, along with studios in Chicago, Toronto, Atlanta, Dallas, Washington DC, San Francisco, Boston, Norway, Milan, London, and Stockholm.
2018
Two Decades in the Red Room. Barry’s celebrates its 20th birthday in style, hosting the Decades Festival and largest Barry’s class ever in Los Angeles.
2020
Over 140K members of the Barry’s Fit Fam take class every week. Our global reach continues to expand daily.
2021
The Best (Digital) Workout in the World launches. Barry’s X allows the Barry’s community to access digital and live classes anytime, anywhere.
2022
RIDE launches in Chelsea, NYC. Barry’s establishes a new innovative concept for RIDE, integrating the winning formula using a bike in place of a treadmill.
2023
84 studios World Wide. Barry’s continues to expand throughout the US and beyond.
Barry’s celebrates a quarter century. 25 years of Barry’s are immortalized with an epic birthday bash and the biggest Red Room ever, with 225 members of the Fit Fam taking class together.
